Ondine cookware is made from stainless steel and 316ti titanium with brass handles. The cooking surface is titanium.

They don’t contain any aluminium or have any synthetic coating.

We chose titanium stainless steel for Ondine cookware because it’s durable, non-toxic and heats evenly. Each pan is constructed in layers for superb heat distribution. We spared no expense in designing and creating Ondine cookware.

Traditional non-stick cookware uses a coating on top of the metal to make the surface non-stick. Some non-stick cookware brands advertise this coating as ‘safe’ but when you cook with a coating this leaches into food and if it is relatively new, as most are, proper scientific studies have not been adequately evaluated. Ondine’s first goal was to create totally safe, non-toxic cookware that preserves the taste and nutrients of food which is why we use highest grade 316ti titanium stainless steel.

It means just that, you can use your Ondine cookware on the stovetop or oven and bring it to the table where the food will stay warm throughout the entire meal. It’s one of the many benefits of using titanium and allows for a shared experience.

Titanium has a natural, non-stick quality and the lids close tightly around the pot or pan—creating the perfect environment to cook without the need of oil or water. Top tip: Make sure the pan is hot before adding food otherwise you might experience some sticking.

Wash carefully in hot, soapy water and dry thoroughly. We recommend conditioning the surface before using. Simply rub a light layer of vegetable oil or corn oil over the entire cooking surface using kitchen paper towel. Rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly. Learn more here.

Don’t worry. We offer a lifetime guarantee against defects in material, construction and craftsmanship. If you think there is a problem, please take some pictures and send us an email to let us know. We will instruct you about next steps.

We suggest you use wooden or silicone, heat-resisted plastic tools. Avoid metal tools or excessive scraping because this can impact the cookware’s performance.

That is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. The colour will fade on its own. Remember, Ondine cookware gets better with age.

Yes, they do. If using a skillet or saucepan on the stove, the handles will most likely get hot. Copy professional chefs and wrap the handles with a tea towel or heat-resistant silicon handle (We don’t sell these but they are widely available from sites such as Amazon).

When cooking in the oven, the entire pan will get hot and stay hot throughout your entire meal. Be sure to place on a heat-resistant surface and protect the handles to avoid accidental burns.

Yes, it is dishwasher safe, but we strongly recommend hand-washing. Dishwashers dull the surface and are harsh on the cooking surface. If you decide to place your cookware in the dishwasher, reduce the heat, don’t over-crowd and be mindful that you may need to recondition the cooking surface.

That’s totally normal. First try cleaning with hot soapy water. Don’t use abrasive scrubs because they will dull the surface. If there is any discolouration, sprinkle the bottom of the pan with baking soda, add boiling water and leave for 15 minutes before washing and drying. For tough stains, mix equal parts of baking soda and water to form a paste. Apply the paste to burned areas, leave it for 15 minutes, then wash off.

Ondine is designed to last generations, mother giving to daughter, daughter giving to daughter and so on. It’s sustainable because it’s the last pan you will ever need. The titanium we use is new. It hasn’t been degraded or re-purposed.
